Artisans have treated the terra cotta body of this lamp with trompe l’oeil techniques (glaze piercing and torching) to make it look like metal. The finish on the body is an earthy gray – the kind of color you’d find on aged aluminum – that layers easily into industrial spaces. The drum-shaped shade in light gray linen is proportioned to give the lamp height and positioned on the finial to spotlight the faux-metal finish.
