Nina's Story is a novel about love, and hardship, and the triumph of hope over despair. Set in post-WWII Ukraine, the story follows Nina - a young girl born into a poor farming family in the breadbasket of Stalin's Soviet Union - as she learns the most difficult lessons in life by living through one of the most tumultuous periods of recent history.
