Following my divorce, and discovering that as my life had been work and my marriage. I had no friendship group to talk to and confide with. So like many people during covid, when we all felt lonely. I took to TikTok to tell the world how I was coping each day. Starting with day 1 of finding Wendy. When I discovered there was interest in my story, and I was helping others who were in the same position, to get through it. Becoming an inspiration. I decided to put pen to paper to document my journey over 365 days of #findingwendy. To see where the journey would take me. And the more I wrote and documented, the healing process kicked in. So this book is a live account of each day, and the feelings and emotions I experienced. How I coped with them. Or didnt. And it is my way of letting others in the same position know, that some of these feelings are normal. It is ok not to be ok, as the saying goes. And it is also ok, to let out the anger. Feel the grief. As long as you move on and keep taking steps forward. I literally went from wanting to end my own life, to living life to the fullest. Even at 55, I am the happiest I have ever been. And I want to give others hope. That they can be too.
