The lands of Pendalin, once ruled by Elves, are now in slow decline. The Royal line has vanished, lost in mystery, intrigue, and time, as have two of the three Royal emblems of Pendalin; the Sceptre of Almanaic and the Crown of Weirran Veil. Only when the two lost emblems are reunited with the Throne of Pendalin will the Royal Heir be found and Pendalin will be replenished. In this time of turmoil, a child called Faye is born. Her mother is a creature never encountered in all the lands of Pendalin, and dies soon after her birth. Faye, half-fey and a child genius, becomes intrigued by the mysteries of the Emblems of Pendalin, which inspires her dreams to attend Austin Academy so she might become a Seeker and discover the lost Emblems. Does she have what it takes to become a Seeker? Will she solve the mystery of the Emblems, as well as her own heritage?
