was originally published in 1977. Translated by Kingsley Hart, it tells the story of Susanna who finds a pair of magic spectacles that transport her from the field in which she is reading. She finds herself on an adventure filled with swamps, volcanoes , dried-up oceans and jungles that only the young girl’s friends from Moominvalley can help her with. The popular characters Sniff, Snufkin and Mo omin all show up, however it is Too-Ticky who is the real hero of the st ory as she is able to use her balloon to finally bring Susanna back home.
