Amber is a 20 year old woman who works as a barista, manager, and a server at a cafe named "Apple spice cafe", which is located in a small cozy town called Beckton. Beckton is where almost everyone knows each other and has their own unique quirks.There are also three cafes in Beckton that open depending on the time of year. The apple spice cafe gets overwhelming most of the time because it is very understaffed, and no one seems to be applying for a job there during autumn. On the first day of November, Amber meets a journalist the same age as her named Hunter. Hunter daydreams often, but has been struggling to find anything to journal about lately. Hunter finds Amber at the cafe and asks her for help with finding the perfect autumn drink in hopes of having something to write about, while Amber hopes for less overwhelming days at her understaffed job.
