It was by sheer chance after much mental anguish and personal suffering that I found myself walking The Way of St. James on the Camino de Santiago. The tragic of my personal circumstance prior to my journey of THE WAY I have briefed in poems here,choosing some of my former darkness to give rise to uncovering within the deepest recesses of my soul a lotus flow of creative ideas resulting in more enlightened poetry and insight for the reader.The book is divided into three sections for ease of reading and initially follows my journey through difficulty towards one of sacred enlightenment. No one wants to suffer the slings and arrows of someone else outrageous fortunes, but the first section of this book of rather dark poetic words serves to express unapologetically that we humans have to often dig deep within to get to the depth of who we really are and what our life’s purpose is all about.My journeys on the Camino allowed me the freedom to rid myself of the demons of my childhood which have led me into the light of day of a new creative output which came about by pure chance. The catalyst to my creative out-pourings ever since has been as a result of my Camino experience and the opening poem of section two of this books was the initial key that introduces the songs of my Camino resulting in the many books, songs and poems recorded.Section three embraces the new journey of my writings but with insights that I have experienced and still dos as a result of the life, I now lead in my constant flow of letting go the past and accepting what comes up. I have somehow journeyed through a child-like belief in God and agnostic search for truth through myth, legends and folklore which leads to a renewed belief in a God of my own understanding. I trust you may gain some benefit in reading the content of this book that applies to you in your way on this earth as it does to mine.
