A journey awaits for a young couple who come into each other's lives, literally by accident. A romance ensues on what seems to be another world.
Rē, a majestic planet a little smaller than our Neptune, is a vast, and wonderful world. It is a deep green, yet exudes the beauty of abounding colors. It is a world so far away that it is beyond the reach of our known universe, and yet, it is just as present to our young lovers as if it were here.
Ayuna, a young lady whose beauty eclipses even that of the planet on which she now lives. She was created to be a courtesan, so-to-speak, for her home world. She is human, mostly, but is also a part of a nonhuman species. A species we would call an advanced civilization. Rē is now her sanctuary, where she has been living quietly, following a personal tragedy. She is not only beautiful, but has many other abilities thanks to her nonhuman presence. Her services were suddenly required one day for another human, and she was taken to him. This was a human from our world, and he had been gravely injured at work.
Aryn, a young man who has found himself on Rē as the result of an accident he cannot remember. He doesn't realize where he is, or how he arrived. When he becomes aware of his surroundings, he thinks he has been living on Rē, as well as on Earth. Then, when Ayuna appears, he is captivated. He can't believe what is happening, and he soon begins a diary about this amazing creature that has come to him. Aryn struggles with his senses. Amazing things happen in his new world, that to him, seem perfectly normal, yet he doesn't seem to understand. He wants Ayuna to be in his world, yet, he wants to stay in her world. His mind wanders and he forgets her, and a vicious cycle ensues. He fears this struggle may overwhelm him, but his heart stays true. He doesn't want to lose this treasure that has come to him.
