speaks to the broken hearted, the grieving heart, the heart yearning for love, the heart that feels everything, and the heart that is eager to face themselves and accept change. May we teach our daughters to put herself first, to learn and love herself, water her own garden, understand when to walk away, and to forgive herself without conditions. Teach her to never let anyone chip parts of her away.
To all my girls embarking on this ground shaking voyage to understanding yourself, know it is not easy, but necessary. You may start over many times and inflict self pain. Those wounds are crucial to becoming sick of your own shit. It is your rite of passage to understand your shadow and dig to find your light. Reinvent yourself often and nurture each version of you.
