What happens when an ordinary job interview turns into a life-altering revelation? After a heart-breaking divorce and the loss of a career she loved, Holly Baxter lands an interview for the perfect job. Moving to Jewel Island could mean a new start to her life, in a place where no one cares that she's a fat, forty-something, childless divorcee. Holly barely sets foot on Jewel Island when strange things happen. She quickly learns she has magical gifts, including the ability to see and speak to ghosts. But she'll have to share the island with sinister resident, Damien Bain. Only the ghosts know Damien's secrets and he'll stop at nothing to keep it that way. With time running out, Holly must face her fears, embrace her power, and challenge Damien before he hunts her down to claim her power as his own.
