To my fellow Dacians and Wallachians, to my brothers and sisters who hold these words to heart. When was the last time you heard of a Romanian character that wasn't a vampire? When was the last time an entire epic poem was dedicated to the wonders of the Carpathian realm and the folklore that surrounds it? I can only express sorrow that this could not be written in the wonderful language of Romanian, the language of a thousand rhythms.Written in the epic tradition, follow the journey of Ziua, a Dacian conjurer who must seek balance between a warrior's rage and a captain's calm when leading her army against the Spiral, a mysterious entity composed of endless creatures who march across the ancestral lands. To face this entity, she must first understand it and deconstruct the mechanisms that compose the desire to provoke so much destruction. Is this achievable? In this twisting nightmare, can she find any meaning while also preserving her values?Journey on the verse and find out.
