Until recently, I have tried to live as much of a private life as possible. I only shared with family and close friends what I wanted to share about past relationships. But God brought it to my attention that sometimes we go through things in life to have a testimony for someone else. Barriers needed to be broken for me to be fully honest about the things I’ve endured. Sometimes I’d sit and wonder why God would choose me for this task. Though the last four years of my life have been the most hurtful, I have encountered some of the greatest spiritual growth ever imagined. It wasn’t until the fourth year that I realized the ministry that was on the inside of me. In this book, I share many intimate moments and thoughts through my character Makayla. During the last four years Makayla went through an engagement, wedding, divorce, restoration and marriage ceremony, separation, restoration, separation, another restoration, and another divorce (I had to go back and count on my hands to make sure I didn’t miss anything). You’ll follow Makayla through a range of emotions, chaos, endurance training, and winning the fight of her life. I know it sounds like a lot (and it was) so hold on tight.
