collects over 130 of his compelling, detailed illustrations of rockstars, actors, neighborhood eccentrics and dogs, spanning the last 20 years. Rendered in a range of styles from pointillism to pencil and wash, Blanchard expands from photographs to instill added dynamism, allegorical or abstract backgrounds, and often creates an impression more "real" than the photograph itself.
