By the Grace of God It is an amazing story of Faith, Love, Prayers, and Miracles.
I've been a Mother since I was thirteen years old. Giving up was not an option. Raising my children was paramount. God held onto me and walked with me every step of the way. I was faced with insurmountable Obstacles but I made it through. This is a story of survival, all alone I raised and educated my four children while Living homeless on the cold bitter streets of Detroit. I've slept on the bus, under bridges, and I've lived in rat, and roach infested tenements. With my children we sault refuge in the parks and we'd rode the bus all night seeking safety and shelter. Keeping my children together and free from harm and separation.
I have lived in temporary shelters and I have given my children a bath in the face bowl at White Castle restaurant. This story does not began to scratch the surface of what I've been through in my life time, God held onto my hand and he guided me through. I knew that I had to survive in order for my Children to Live.
It was only "By the Grace of God" that I lived to tell the story. Written by Patricia Lee.
