However, Faye sees her life story, captured in her new autobiography, Confessions of a Naked, Vulnerable Woman, as one woman's journey of healing. Life was unpredictable from before Faye's birth, when it was a pleasant surprise to learn her mother was pregnant with twins. Unfortunately, three days after their birth, Faye and her family experienced the death of her twin brother. The family pushed forward until her mother's suicide a few years later, coupled with Faye's adapting to having cerebral palsy. Though she faced many challenges over the years, Faye found comfort in talking to God through prayer and appreciating God's creations, from a dragonfly's dancing to special moments with her dad. Life is a struggle, but God brings hope.
