Danielle Forester, with her shoulder-length thick blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes, is a quiet girl who doesn't particularly like parties, yet here she is at her first book launch.
A first-time author, she's thrilled to see her book in print but daunted at the prospect of mingling with so many other talented writers. But they were a friendly bunch, and she gradually allowed herself to relax.

Unfortunately for Dani, she encountered Grant again at another party her friend Lucy persuaded her to attend. She was standing idly glancing around the room, a drink in hand, when Lucy gave a gasp of pure lust and commented on the gorgeous hunk that had just entered the room, likening him to a lethal weapon.
