Fallon Henley just wanted to be a normal teenage girl and never completely embraced her family's survivalist lifestyle. Jacob Dunn just wanted Fallon to see him as something other than a brother figure. After a solar flare plunges their world into darkness, the people of Compound thought they had been prepared for the collapse that followed. When an unforeseen war forces them from their stronghold in a Nevada desert, they flee to the only place they believe can offer safety - Sanctuary. Forced into a world where being carefree is no longer an option, the teenagers of Compound must do what is necessary to protect their families - even if it means risking their own lives.
