The outlaws ride into the town of Bitters with $50,000 in stolen money. Nine trigger-happy hardcases. They are looking for a place to hold up, and Bitters is just perfect. A small town, no lawman, very peaceful-and just starting to thaw out after the last big snow storm. So they take it over. Gather up all the weapons and make the bar their headquarters-and kill the bartender while they're at it.
Now the townfolk are trying to figure out what to do. Dan Murdock knows he needs a plan but first he has to find a gun. And to make matters worse, his rancher boss is siding with the killers in the hopes that they will dispose of his competition. In the meantime, the killers make it very clear that they will kill anyone who gets in their way. For the townspeople of Bitters, Hell has come to stay...
