. They released two amazing singles, the guitar-hero glory of
"Everything Flows"

"God Knows It's True,"
and the promising debut album
A Catholic Education
. They also released a rollicking, loose cover of
the Beatles

"The Ballad of John and Yoko"
and a handful of B-sides that aren't exactly essential but are a lot of fun. Only
"Weedbreak"
is a complete throwaway. The demo version of
"Primary Education"
is a laugh, as
the Fannies'
attempt to get funky at the end of the track will have you in a stitch or two. Their cover of
Neil Young
"Don't Cry No Tears"
is charmingly ragged and

"So Far Gone"
is a powerful

slice reminiscent of
Huesker Due
