Die "CATECHESIS IN ACADEMIA Rostochiana ex praelectionibus Davidis Chytraei collecta." ist zudem erstmalig aus dem Neulateinischen ins Deutsche ubersetzt worden. Diese Ausgabe ermoglicht der Forschung die erste tief gehende und kritische Auseinandersetzung mit einer im 16. Jahrhundert an Schulen und Universitaten viel gelesenen religiosen Unterweisungsschrift. The Latin text was published for the first time in 1554 and printed in 1599. It is edited here according to modern standards and with commentaries for the first time. Furthermore, The CATECHESIS IN ACADEMIA Rostochiana ex praelectionibus Davidis Chytraei collecta is translated from the Neo-Latin into German for the first time. This edition enables researchers to study a religious instruction which was widely read at schools and universities in the 16th century.
