Because the movie was released digitally, the DVD is created straight from the digital source, and it shows in the sound and quality. The sound is Dolby 5.1 (other options are THX-certified and DTS 5.1) with French and English tracks. It's available for viewing in both standard and 1:85:1 widescreen versions. Along with the awesome visuals and sound, there are plenty of features to occupy viewers long after the movie is over. Highlights include background on how the special effects were created, a documentary on the sound design, a feature on ""building a better dinosaur,"" and several games, including ""Dinosearch"" and ""Aladar's Adventure.""
