Ashley and Duke Montgomery have been married for two months and so far nothing is as they expected. They're at odds with one another and themselves; unable to cope with everything that happened at their wedding. To distract themselves from their rising resentments and tension, they bury themselves in their little construction project - Dexie's barn renovations. But all is not lost; the families band together to send the bickering couple off on their delayed, and much needed, honeymoon.
Their week in paradise ends up being anything but. They'll have to deal with mother nature, accidents that continuously keep happening, as well their own issues.
