It is an entertaining story about five fifth grade boys and the excitement generated by a "Reed Conti" sleepover. Like most preteens, the main character, Vincent Lexington Jones, a gangly, ten and a half year old, is struggling to find himself. He is naïve but tries to be cool and sophisticated, especially when Olivia Morgan is around. Among his ongoing problems with his five year old brother, Andrew, and missing his big brother, Justin, who left for college-------- AND.... an overprotective mother, who won't let him out of her sight--- Vincent is faced with having to make a VERY..VERY IMPORTANT DECISION! Will Vincent Lexington Jones do what's right ...or what's easy? Will his friends do the right thing? Of course not! There wouldn't be much of a story if they did! Your heart will SMILE and your eyeballs will DANCE as you devour the humorous text and frantically flip the pages of "Dudley Sparks and the Eighth Invitation!"
