E-business: Key Issues, Applications and Technologies contains papers presented at the eBusiness and eWork Conference (e2000) held in Madrid in October 2000. The e2000 event was sponsored by the European Commission's IST Programme. The scope of the conference and the resulting book, corresponds to the area addressed by the IST Programme Key Action II, New Methods of Work and Electronic Commerce. The e2000 event is the main conference for disseminating results from Research and Technology Development projects within Key Action II of the IST programme. The book contains papers describing results emerging from many and varied European Commission funded e-business-related projects.
