De Edda-bewerking van Frans Berding uit 1911 is allang uit druk, en zelfs antiquarisch amper te krijgen. Deze uitgave, verzorgd door Stichting Cosmic Fire Foundation, bestaat uit de volledige originele tekst (dus zonder illustraties), maar de taal is aangepast aan de nieuwe spelling: mensch wordt mens, etc. Verder is de statig aandoende klassieke stijl volledig gehandhaafd, waardoor dit een goed leesbaar verhaal is geworden met behoud van de oorspronkelijke sfeer.
