Schools have metal detectors and barbed wire fences. It's not to keep anyone out. It's to keep us in. To keep a perfect society free of emotion and creativity. Class Plus holds the highest esteem. Class Minus are poor. Class Negative... Well, they're expendable. It doesn't matter if you're 4 years old and just starting preschool or 74 in a home for the elderly. One world out of line or an action that a guardian takes personally... and you're as good as dead. Someday you just need to hope you don't cross paths with a guardian having a bad day.
Young people who think for themselves tend to have no voice, no outlet that will take them seriously. It's a one sided relationship between our younger generation and those old enough to know better. This book is my way of giving those with unhealed trauma from their childhood a world where things are just as bad as they seem. A world seen through the view of a silenced and threatened young adult. A world I saw and brought to life when I was just 16.
