With its cheerful, kid-friendly, and vibrant illustrations and enticing storyline, Eid and the Moon Bangles teaches young readers about the significance of Ramadan and Eid; the importance of giving, even if it means sacrificing something we really want; and never giving up, especially when we wish good for others.
It is the night before Eid or 'Night of the Moon.' Zoya is shopping with her mother for bangles to wear with her Eid outfit, as she does every year. This year, however, an unexpected encounter at the bangle shop sends Zoya on a journey to discover the value of giving to others and the true meaning of Eid.
Young readers will love this gripping story of discovery, compassion, and a new friendship.
