When Aria heard her mom tell fairy tales to help her fall asleep, they were different than anyone else's stories. They had everything every fairy tale had, giants, queens, kings, and princesses being rescued by handsome princes. Her stories were different because they were true. Stories of her homeland, before her world was destroyed. She remembers the scent of roses and jasmine of her mom. It was not perfume it was her mom's actual scent since she was a rose fairy. The jasmine was from her mom's chaplet; she would always leave one jasmine flower on Aria's pillow when the story ended. And one night that story ended for her, and her life changed while she slept. Soon she would wake up and realize it was not only her life that changed and that it was not safe to believe in fairy tales anymore.
