Karina Miller has a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires and has received a Ph.D. in Hispanic American Literature from the University of California, Irvine. She has served as an Assistant Professor at California State University, San Marcos, and is currently a Research Associate at the University of California, Irvine. She has published in magazines and anthologies such as Revista Hispamérica, Revista Iberoamericana, Dissidences: Hispanic Journal of Theory and Criticism, A Contracorriente, the volume on Andrés Caicedo: La estela de Caicedo. Miradas Críticas; and the volume, Estar en el presente; Literatura y nación desde el bicentenario edited by Enrique Cortez and Gwen Kirkpatrick. She has co-edited with María Cisterna, the special issue Política de los afectos y las emociones en producciones culturales de América Latina, which will soon appear in Revista Iberoamericana.
