Geordie Vollner is an angelic vampire hybrid, trying to find the Massachusetts State coven of vampires so she may no longer be on the run from the angels who consider her an abomination. While trying to escape a powerful winter angel, Frost, she meets Matt Hallow who is a peculiar human that doesn't seem very human. His past is shrouded in a mystery that only the vampire guardian, Samuel Williams, has the answers to. Sam was tasked to protect Matt with his life but when Matt and Geordie are coerced into traveling to the Immortal Realm, he loses them on the other side and must save them from the Mortal Realm.
Frost, the angelic assassin who commands the powers of winter, is determined to kill Geordie and betrays her beliefs and leader to accomplish her goals when she discovers she's been lied to for her entire existence.
