"Fight" is a book focusing on the ways we serve our Lord and the ministries He may have us involved in. It is in Paul's letter to the Ephesians that Paul tells us that we are in a war. He even reveals the type of armor we need to wear for this war. But, I have a question for you. Have you ever considered the ministry you are involved in a battle in this war? If you are a missionary, elder, preacher, or evangelist, then you are quite aware of the war from first hand. But, about those who greet the family as it comes to the church building? Or those who volunteer their time to preparing communion for the rest of us to partake in as part of our worship? This book, though designed to reach and speak to those of us who perform ministries or duties that could be seen less important than a evangelist or missionary, brings out principles found in the book of Joshua that will help anyone. This book will help to bring value and importance to what you do by considering what ever you do, you are in a battle for life and death. It could be a lost soul whose heart was spoken to by your kind and gentle manner as you greeted them that morning. It could be that weaker Christian who is in danger of loosing what faith they have in God. In ahy case and every case, I want us to see the urgency of doing our ministries with determination, conviction, and commitment. And reviewing these principles found in Joshua will help that happen. My prayer is that you will find renewed excitement and energy in what you are doing by taking these truths and letting God use them in you.
