For my Lost Love and For my Missing Piece follow the journey of life of two characters aptly named as such.
Both of these books are fully self-insert, the only two pronouns used for the main characters are "You" and "I". This allows the reader to imagine these two as you wish within their story. This is both a short-story compilation and non-fiction book, as all stories can be read as their own complete piece, but lined up in the order that they are in both installments, they make a complete life story. For my Missing Piece (Book Two) is from Sun's point of view.
These stories are realistic, grounded, and optimistic. They show how Sun is much more literal in their retelling, preferring to describe their journey as a hopeful one, filled with wishes and a longing for more. From their view, they held onto every moment without worry of what could happen, instead choosing to cherish all the time they had. It is recommended to purchase both installments of the "For my" Series, as both books give unique insights into the complete story that the other doesn't give. Certain illustrations, key mentions in the stories, and even the cover art can only be fully understood after completing both books. Both installments of the "For my" series are printed with a slightly larger than normal text size, and with larger spacing between lines of text. This allows for those with reading difficulties and vision difficulties to have an easier time using accommodations, or simply allowing for more differentiation between lines for those who need it. It is my intention to make reading accessible for all, no matter who or where you are.
