Friday: Khutbah Lectures for Congregational Prayers. In Islam the weekly congregational prayers on Fridays include lectures as part of the worship service. These lectures have a specific format to praise our creator Allah and to thank Him for His mercy. We worship Him to recognize Him. We are also required to extend our greetings of peace upon His prophets and messengers. They were all selected souls who brought us the message while sacrificing their own comforts of life. We use these occasions to exemplify their life events and their teachings to correct the human condition and belief. In the book we have compiled more than sixty lectures for weekly prayers and yearly Eid celebration events. We assembled the basic issues needed to remind us of our duties and obligations in the society and family. We kept the message short and simple for local communities. We stated only from the most authentic references without lengthy and euphoric debate. For students we have included translations and transliterations.
