I consider each more than a poem and more a story in itself. The things that give me inspiration vary from a true life experience to something I see on the side of the road. As we all travel through life we encounter happiness and sorrow but through each we become a stronger wiser person. We all go through the same good times and rough times in life and hopefully a page in this book whether a poem or a photo will be just what you need at that time to help you through. So live your life to the fullest and understand that our life path is already in place and just waiting for us to take the next step.EXCERPT: Little Towns DieI love to drive the back roads throughout this landBut there is one thing I notice time and time againEvery small town is full of the stores that are closedThere are no longer small stores to buy shoes and clothesThe bicycle shop and lunch counter are no longer thereJust empty buildings with broken glass everywhereThe new four lane highway was built around this small townThen after this happened these small stores were left to drownKids no longer ride bikes Saturday downtown to the showThey have no reason to even go to town anymore you knowEverything is bought online or out at the new big box store Walking on the towns crowded streets will happen no moreAs I slowly drove around this deserted little town I wanted to cryBecause so much is lost when we let these little towns dieFrom My World To Yours, Bob Baker
