TV storyboards, ad layouts, presentations for clients and a slew of birthday cards for fellow employees.
The visualization of a cartoon where the image and text work together to form the idea, is what facilitates the involvement of the reader in the concept.
Back in 2015 at the request of my coffee buddy Don, I illustrated an idea he had for a political cartoon.
I enjoyed that so much I kept with it, off and on ever since.
As it turns out there was an endless stream of topics to be covered, resulting in the completion of the two socio/political cartoon collections included in this edition.

By studying the political landscape for many years, I believe the work has an ideological and historical context.
A context that seems to be lacking these days.
