Members of Mayhem, Cadaver, Enslaved, and Gehenna--all of the Scandinavian death-metal scene--make up the Oslo group. HADES RISE is a joyous throwback to the days of '80s thrash metal, albeit with a predilection for slower tempos, which only serves to add to the menace quotient.
