Now tired and war weary after twenty years on active duty, she has come home to a neglected old house bequeathed to her by a maiden aunt. Jim MacQuaid came home from war after being injured on duty years before. Now comfortable in his new life with his extended family, he reconnects with Margaret, the bratty kid he'd once teased.
