This is a gratitude jot journal for young readers. The purpose of this journal is to connect gratitude to the hearts of young readers through short-story testimony, scripture, and reflection. The reason it is called a jot journal is so that young readers can write down how they are feeling as they work through the book.
The journal begins with a short story and a testimony at the end of the story. It then ties together a scripture, a gratitude affirmation, and a statement. It then has a guide of reflection questions and, finally, a reflective doodle activity.
Space is provided after each activity to allow the readers to add notes and add any other reflections.
The author's prayer for each reader as they read through this journal and doodle is that they may appreciate the goodness around them no matter what is going on in their life. May they learn to acknowledge the many gifts around them, big, small, and in between. They truly are life's miracles.
