Winston Churchill said it best, "Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm." Do you ever just sit with yourself and imagine how your life would be if you actually started moving in the direction where your dreams become your reality? Do you ever wonder what it would be like if you started taking small actions towards the ideas that you have within you? What if time or money wasn't an obstacle? What if instead of thinking that you might fail, you just believed that you would win and be successful? Sometimes I dream about "portals."
I dream that there are many different versions of us as humans. In our lifetime, we go through life-changing events that require different versions of ourselves. It's like being brave enough to go through a portal into another life. It's an opportunity to choose something different. Live a whole new life. Think about it, in the movies when you see time travel, the character will go through a portal to a whole new existence.
They learn the language of that world, the lifestyle, and the way of life. Each phase of your life requires another version of you. In some cultures, it is frowned upon to change. Some people believe that the only way to "keep it real" is to stay the same. The biggest mistake a person could ever make is to fight to stay the same. As humans, we are constantly learning, growing, and evolving. It is almost impossible to stay the same when we are always evolving.
I come to realize that we go through different stages of our life and when we are able to accept what's happening in our lives, whether good or bad and continue to move forward without dwelling on life's circumstances, we then have the opportunity to have a new experience.
This requires bravery. In order to walk willingly into the unknown, you have to be brave enough to trust and have the faith that we all like to say we have. Bravery is the willingness to confront agony, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation "Renee Brown". Learn to confront and deal with any and everything that is holding you back from being the best version of yourself. Release it and walk into the unknown.
To be your most authentic self requires bravery. You first have to unlearn all of the emotions and behaviors that were passed down to you that don't even belong to you and no longer serve you. To have the knowledge that the universe is always conspiring to work in our favor, we should not be afraid. When life happens, and it will, we have to do our best to continue to be loving and kind to ourselves first and, of course, to others. By doing that, we radiate love; when we radiate love, we then attract love.
