Being a middle school male dancer isn’t very popular with his peers in the first place, but it’s even harder for Reagan Clark who lives in a family surrounded by strong male athletes. His brothers are varsity football players at the local high school, and Reagan is constantly being asked to follow in their footsteps. Reagan isn’t interested in playing sports because he shares his mother’s love and passion for dancing.Ridiculed and criticized daily at school by his peers for being a dancer doesn’t deter him from following and pursuing his dream of becoming a professional dancer like his mother. More than anything else, dancing helps Reagan stay connected to his mother who passed away when he was five years old. In an attempt to stay close to his mother, Reagan has shut out the rest of his family and locked himself in his own little world where he and his mother exist together-until he meets a girl.This special girl plays a key role in Reagan’s life and helps him discover a different type of love.
