This book challenges readers in an area that most of us only think about occasionally. Unfortunately, most of the time we think about this area only when pressed by extremely hard circumstances. The area and real issue is faith. In difficult and painful moments in life, when we have reached the end of our rope, faith may come to our conscience level and perhaps even to the very decisions we must make. Indeed, God has repeatedly declared in His word, the Bible, what He highly values; faith! But faith is not just any faith. The object of faith must be God and God alone. This book offers sound insight on how to develop what God/Jesus, highly values; faith in Him. And even more than just developing faith in God, this book looks in the question of "have faith in God for what?" "Have faith that God will do what, specifically?"
This book looks at the various relationships in which faith is to be developed, relationship with God, in marriage, within the family, in the workplace and others areas. Human relationships are what God is mostly interested in, which of course, includes humans' relationship with God Himself. If fact, relationship with God is paramount and thus the foundation for the whole book. After giving the author's initial thoughts and personal convictions on faith in chapter 1, chapter 2 offers and abbreviated account for the basis for putting faith in God. But then in the rest of the chapters, moves on to other human relationship in which one's faith in God is lived out, where faith is to develop, grow and be strengthened. This book helps the reader realize that faith in God is really to be part of our whole life which sheds some light to the biblical statement, "The just shall live by his faith."

Throughout the book the author soundly expounds pertinent biblical passages and points out challenging faith applications. This aspect of the book may be the most demanding or difficult to follow closely. But the reader is urged to not only follow the argument but even to examine the particular passage that is being given an extended treatment. It will be well worthwhile to put the book down and turn that portion of the Bible and personally examine it. This book shows that applying faith, exercising faith in God, is to be done in all our relationships and really in all of life.
