Introduction to Global Plate Tectonics V is the fifth part of a five part series covering the subject of plate tectonics, paleogeography, and the drifting and build out of continents. Each book was designed as a picture guide containing many images extracted from scientific journal articles written by research professors on the subject matter. The text content has been rewritten to help explain technical terms, converting the terms into a more understandable language for those interested in learning about geological sciences, but have not yet mastered the terminology. Images were drawn by adding color and texture to highlight key events explained by the text. Part V covers the development of the Australian and Antarctica Precambrian Era basement continuing through to the present day. This book focuses on the more technical aspects of continent al development.
