Avaline's parents were killed by vampires when she was very young. Since then, it has been Ava's mission in life to rid the world of vampires, along with her older brother, William, and a few close friends. But one day, Ava meets a vampire who changes her life forever. One who wants to help her in any way he can to kill Cairistiona, the evil Vampire Queen. Ava hesitantly accepts his help, but William and her friends aren't so sure about the vampires motives, causing strong tensions among them.
