Irrational is a cautionary twenty-third-century dystopian tale of science run amuck. Humans are no longer the superior species in our world. In fact, we are the lower class on Earth. More intelligent and stronger than humans, the dolmans control our planet. Humans are enslaved, and it's obvious the dolmans intend our complete erasure.

Jonas turns the rag-tag group into a force to be reckoned with, and many step up to aid in the fight and build a new life and a new democracy. Along the way, they pioneer a new world for themselves.
