Jackie Boy is a seven-year-old spending long days on the beach with no one to play with. It didn't bother him since he was a curious child who quietly took in everything around him. That uneventful calm changed the moment he met the tiny sand crab whose burrow lay close to Jackie Boy's umbrella.
The first moments were tense, but the two quickly realized they could understand and talk to each other. The crab discovers Jackie Boy is what the Sea Folk refer to as a "Magic Boy". Delighted, Tiny Crab sets about introducing Jackie Boy to a host of sea folk and the resulting adventures are priceless and more precious than a pirate's treasure.
