This very moving novel about this exceptional woman Junia will motivate each reader to realize that God can use them no matter what their gender or racial background might be. This intriguing story begins with Junia's early years and progresses on to the young woman who defied cultural traditions and social mores as she struggled to follow God's calling on her life. Girls and women will especially enjoy this story, for it will help them to realize that they can do something for society even though they are ''only a girl.'' It shows us that women served in significant leadership roles during biblical times. It reveals Jesus as the great liberator of women in that He elevated women to positions of great respect and dignity
