In fact, the female figure comes from a woman on my altar cabinet in Växjö Cathedral, where she was Eve from the creation story in the Bible.” Azur is cast in graphite mold at Kosta Glassworks. The mold has an impression of one of Bertil Vallien's characteristic faces that has been blasted. The 2025 series is made in "Vallien blue" as the blue color has come to be known.
