Durante 2 anos, estudámos pacientes sintomáticos devido a cornetos inferiores hipertróficos. No total, foram estudados 94 pacientes. Foram recrutados 51 pacientes (24 mulheres, 27 homens) que foram submetidos a ablação com laser de CO2 e 43 pacientes (22 mulheres, 21 homens) que foram submetidos a BEC. A escala NOSE e a pontuação VAS foram utilizadas para comparar o estado pré-operatório e os resultados pós-operatórios. A morbidade pós-operatória usando endoscópio também foi estudada.
