'Last Seen In Trinidad' is a magical and exciting story about a brother and sister who adventure to find Santa Claus with their beloved pet dog 'Dusty.'
Santa Claus visits Trinidad and Tobago (a twin island Republic in the Caribbean), and has so much fun exploring the local customs that he loses track of time. He goes missing! All his mail is piled high in the post office and the elves are panicking on Christmas Eve.
As young readers journey with the protagonists to find Santa they learn about the main Christmas customs on the islands, from parang music to pastelle making. Local children and those from the Caribbean Diaspora can delight in stories that they are familiar with, while children from other countries can experience the wonder and culture of somewhere new!
'Last Seen In Trinidad' is one in a series of books sold by IMAGINATION KEEPSAKES which are creative, educational stories written by Jaime Lee Loy and illustrated by Shawn Chong Ashing.
