The environment in which the process of learning and teaching is conducted, is one of the key elements of the effectiveness of the entire educational process. This environment arises in the context of formal and nonformal education. The ability to create individual student's personal learning environment (PLE) is particularly important from the point of view of lifelong learning. Both personal learning goals, preferred forms and methods of learning as well as the necessary resources and educational tools should be taken into account in PLE. Today, in the era of electronic media, learning environments are being built in both the traditional and digital space.
